The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced that all remaining members of the South Africa and West Indies national cricket teams have left India after the conclusion of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026.
The travel operation, carried out under challenging global conditions, saw the departure of 29 South African players and 16 West Indies players within the past 24 hours.
The ICC worked closely with various authorities to coordinate travel arrangements amidst disruptions to international air travel, ensuring the safe return of players and staff.
Cricket South Africa and Cricket West Indies, along with their teams, were thanked for their cooperation throughout the travel process, as ICC staff worked tirelessly to facilitate safe journeys for all involved.
