Kaizer Chiefs are currently on a pre-season tour in Spain, but it seems they might be parting ways with a significant player back home.
Reports suggest that AS FAR from Morocco is keen on acquiring Lilepo from Kaizer Chiefs and are willing to pay a substantial amount of R16.5 million for his services.
According to sources, negotiations are already in progress between the two clubs, indicating a serious intent from the Moroccan side.
Despite interest from clubs in Libya and Egypt, the move to Morocco seems most likely for Lilepo if he decides to leave Chiefs, with AS FAR leading the race.
The Congolese striker had a decent performance last season, scoring five goals and providing four assists in 27 league matches for Kaizer Chiefs in a wide attacking role.
This potential transfer comes amidst significant changes at Kaizer Chiefs, having released five senior players and welcomed three new signings, including Thabo Moloisane.
