Kaizer Chiefs' Lebohang Maboe is currently in limbo awaiting news on an injury that forced him to exit the Bafana Bafana squad.
Maboe, who has been in stellar form this season with two goals and two assists in seven league matches, was a notable absentee from the Bafana squad called up by Pitso Mosimane.
In addition to Maboe's situation, Kaizer Chiefs are also dealing with injuries to goalkeeper Brandon Petersen and striker Wandile Duba, who face several weeks on the sidelines.
As South Africa prepares to witness Bafana under the guidance of new coach Pitso Mosimane against Guinea in an AFCON qualifier, the Pressure is on Maboe to prove his fitness within the limited time frame.
