Kaizer Chiefs are preparing for their MTN8 quarter-final showdown against Golden Arrows, with fans eager to see who will make the starting lineup.
Manager Fernando Da Cruz is contemplating fielding Mduduzi Shabalala, who might return to action following injury, offering a boost in the attacking midfield role.
While some new signings like Langelihle Phili and Faiz Abrahams are likely to begin on the bench, the team is riding high on confidence after a recent victory against Kruger United.
The expected Kaizer Chiefs XI includes familiar names like Brandon Petersen in goal and Flávio Silva, who recently found the back of the net against Kruger United.
On the other hand, Golden Arrows, led by new coach Pitso Dladla, are going through a rebuilding phase after key departures, presenting an opportunity for Chiefs to make an impact in the early stages of the MTN8 competition.
With players like Siyanda Ndlovu and Isaac Cissé moving on to other clubs, Arrows will be looking to regroup as they face Chiefs at FNB Stadium in what promises to be an exciting encounter.
