Il Etait Temps, a South African racehorse co-owned by two families, triumphs at the Cheltenham Festival in England, winning the prestigious Queen Mother Champion Chase Group 1.
Despite a past of unsuccessful attempts and a recent fall at Ascot, Il Etait Temps delivers a stellar performance, securing his seventh Group 1 victory over jumps and garnering praise from co-owner Craig Kieswetter, a former England cricketer.
The monumental win at Cheltenham is celebrated by both South African and international audiences, highlighting the country's growing influence in the world of horse racing and setting the stage for upcoming premier events like the Hollywoodbets Durban July.
