Rassie Erasmus, the successful coach of the Springboks, is looking forward to the start of the 2026 season as the team prepares to face the star-studded Barbarians team coached by Scott Robertson.
Following the Barbarians match, the Springboks will engage in several key fixtures, including Tests against England, Scotland, Wales, and the All Blacks in the Rugby's Greatest Rivalry series.
Erasmus expressed his anticipation for the season to kick off in Gqeberha, a location where the team has always received tremendous support from fans.
The Springboks have maintained an impressive record at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, remaining undefeated in most matches played there. Erasmus is hopeful for another packed stadium as they face the Barbarians.
The upcoming season for the Springboks includes a series of internationally significant matches, culminating in fixtures against notable teams such as Wallabies, Italy, France, and Ireland.
