Former rugby star Russell Nelson has sadly passed away at the age of 53, just weeks before his birthday.
Nelson, a product of Bishops in Cape Town, started his career with Boland and later the Bulls before making a mark at Ulster with 30 senior appearances.
Tributes from Ulster, Ballymena RFC, and his former school, Bishops, highlight Nelson's leadership both on and off the field.
Known for his passion for rugby and family values, Nelson's legacy transcends the sport, leaving a lasting impact on the rugby community.
