Mandla Ncikazi, the former assistant coach for Orlando Pirates, has spoken out about rumors of a dispute with head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou following his departure to join Golden Arrows.
Having concluded a five-year tenure with the Pirates, Ncikazi's move sparked speculation about a potential fallout with Ouaddou. However, Ncikazi, speaking after a recent Golden Arrows match, declined to delve into the matter.
Ncikazi emphasized the importance of safeguarding both former and current associations. He avoided addressing the rumors, stressing it is unprofessional to speak negatively about previous employers.
He illustrated this sentiment by comparing it to personal family matters that should remain private, acknowledging that though challenges exist in any team, they shouldn't be publicly aired.
Ncikazi reflected on his time at various clubs, stating that lessons learned taught him the significance of maintaining a harmonious work environment, regardless of existing issues.
During his years with the Pirates, Ncikazi played a pivotal role in securing eight trophies. Although he remained tight-lipped on specifics concerning Ouaddou, his comments shed light on his reasons for maintaining discretion.
